♦Ahead of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak sangh meeting in jammu where BJP s ideological fountainhead is expected to take stock of the situation there in relation to the attack on Amarnath pilgrims, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is facing scathing criticism from with in the saffron clan.
2.ARMY CHIEF RUSHES TO J&K
♦Army chief Gen Bipin Rawat rushed to kashmir to review security in the valley following the audacious attack.
3.CM’ S OFFICE ASKS SIDHU TO GO ‘GO SLOW
♦With local bodies Minister Navjot singh Sidhu having run-ins with the adminis-trative officers ,he has been reportedly advised by officials in the Chif Minister ‘s office to go show.
4.NO GST ON FREE FOOD PROVIDED AT RELIGIOUS PLACES
♦The govt today said free food provided in religious institutions does not attract (GST).In addition prasadam supplied by religious places like temples ,churches and dargahs is also exempt from GST.
5.NAGALAND CRISIS:GUV ASKS CM TO PROVE MAJORITY BEFORE JULY15
♦ Nagalnd governor PB acharya today asked chief Minister Shurhozelie Liezietsu to prove his majority by july 15 in wake of the turbulence within the ruling Naga people’s front and demands for him to step down.
6.M-CAP OF BSE -LISTED FIRMS SOARS TO RECORD Rs.130 LAKH CR
♦Total market valuation of all listed companies on the BSE touched a record high of Rs 130 lakh cr today as stocks rallied , but slipped below this level on late sell-off.
